Quality control:

Quality control is the heart of Orgenetics. Stronger the heart-QC better the assurance. We observed Good Laboratories Practice as per FDA guidelines.

Our QC starts from the ground and ends in sophisticated analytical laboratory. We inspect the ground, reviewing harvesting method and surveying the final material as per USDA guidelines. We double check that farmers use matured compost fertilizer. Government agency checks the quality by determining the C/N ratio. During composting, the content of total carbon decreases while that of total nitrogen increases, resulting in a fall in the C/N ratio.

Organoleptic Testing

Despite all the advances in analytical technology, the human senses have proven to be superior in determining a quality product. We observe Organoleptic testing that includes, color, flavor, texture, aroma, and size.

Laboratory Testing

Moisture content is to be determined for each and every product. We ensure constant moisture content to ensure freshness but also control of mold, fungus, and bacteria. We test for E. coli, Salmonella, Total Bacteria, Yeast, Mold, and Coliforms.

Microscopy and Petri-Grid Analysis

We check foreign matters microscopically and Grid sampling.

Heavy Metal Testing

We test for total heavy metals as well as individuals like Arsenic, Lead, Mercury and cadmium as per acceptable levels

Ash Testing

Ash testing determines the amount of dust, dirt, rock and foreign matter found in the material.

pH Testing

We measure pH levels through the latest in digital equipment. This test also helps us to determine cross contamination.

Chemical Residue Testing

Special check system has been established for up to 100 known and commonly found pesticides, organophosphates, and chemicals.

Pesticide Testing

Pesticide residue is very important test in our standard operation procedure.

Certificate of Analysis

We test all lots and keep the record in our certificate of analysis. Every lot is traceable from source to distribution.
